Free Estimate
We offer free, no-obligation estimates for all Omega watch repairs, so you’ll know exactly what the service will cost before any work begins. Omega produces dozens of models with countless variations, each featuring unique movement setups. From co-axial escapements to chronographs, moon phases, and other complications, the complexity of these timepieces can vary greatly. This makes it impractical to offer a flat rate, as the time, labor, and expertise required depend on the specific model and its features.

Free Shipping
Don’t have a trusted Omega watch repair option nearby? The Watch Buyers Group provides free, fully insured FedEx 2-Day Air shipping both to and from your location. Even if you decide not to proceed with the repair after receiving your estimate, return shipping is still free—no obligation, no risk.
Genuine Parts
Even the simplest Omega movements contain over 100 parts, while more complex models can have more than 300 individual components. Some of these parts need to be replaced periodically to maintain proper function, meet Omega’s performance standards, and preserve your watch’s value over time. The cost of these parts is separate from the service fee, which covers the dismantling, cleaning, and lubricating of the movement. That’s why before starting any work we always provide a final estimate for you to approve or decline with no obligation.

Factory Refinish
Restore your Omega watch to like-new condition with a factory-quality refinish, complimentary with every full movement overhaul. Our refinishing service restores all brushed and high-polished surfaces, bringing back the original luster and finish of your timepiece.
Our Team
We completed our first Omega watch repair in 2008. Since then, we’ve built a team of in-house, CW-21 certified watchmakers who have helped establish The Watch Buyers Group as one of the most trusted independent watch repair providers—serving clients locally in Pasadena, California, and nationwide.

Omega Watch Repair FAQs
What Does “Starting at $699” Really Mean?
The starting price of $699 covers basic service for simpler movements, but more complex models and necessary parts will increase the overall cost. Omega produces a wide variety of watch movements, ranging from simple time-only models to intricate triple-calendar moon-phase chronographs. The more complex the movement, the greater the number of components—some housing 200 to 300 individual parts—all of which must be carefully dismantled by hand. Servicing these watches takes significantly more time and requires the expertise of a skilled, certified watchmaker. Additionally, many parts need periodic replacement to ensure the watch continues to meet Omega’s performance and accuracy standards.
What Is the Average Repair Total?
The total cost of repairing your Omega watch depends on several factors: the age of the watch, the specific movement caliber, its service history, and even your personal wearing habits. Some watches may need only routine maintenance, while others may require more extensive repairs due to wear and tear. As much as we’d like to give you an exact figure upfront, there’s simply no way to know what your Omega needs without a qualified watchmaker inspecting it firsthand. That’s why we offer free shipping and free, no-obligation estimates—so both you and our team can fully understand what your watch requires before any work begins.
Do you use genuine parts?
Yes.
Do You Have a Parts Account?
Our watchmakers do—The Watch Buyers Group itself does not. Omega issues parts accounts to individual watchmakers, not to companies. Any CW-21 certified watchmaker can invest in the required tools and equipment, complete Omega’s caliber accreditation courses, and apply directly for a parts account with Omega. Omega offers different tiers of parts account access, granting watchmakers varying levels of availability based on their expertise, training, and the specific calibers they’re certified to service. This ensures that only qualified professionals can source genuine Omega parts.
Do You Have a Parts Account?
Most Omega repairs are completed within 6 to 12 weeks from the date you approve your repair estimate. However, some repairs may take longer due to factors beyond our control—particularly parts availability. Omega has yet to fully staff its internal service centers and parts distribution division since the COVID-19 lockdowns, which means parts can sometimes take a month or more to arrive. Because we can’t order parts until after your estimate is approved, this can extend the overall turnaround time. Rest assured, we’ll keep you informed throughout the process and work to complete your repair as efficiently as possible.
Can You Service Any Omega Watch?
No, not every Omega watch can be serviced. Some early Omega models use movements that Omega—or their parent company, Swatch Group—did not manufacture, and in many cases, replacement parts for those vintage movements are no longer produced. Similarly, certain newer Omega models have parts that are not yet available to independent watchmakers.
Generally, we can service most Omega watch movements made within the last 50 years. If you’re unsure whether we can service your specific Omega, just ask—we’re happy to check and guide you.
