TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR BUYING A WATCH

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all purchases made from The Watch Buyers Group (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before placing an order.
1. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least 18 years old to make a purchase. By placing an order, you represent and warrant that you are legally able to enter into a binding contract.
2. PRODUCTS AND AVAILABILITY
- All products, including preowned and new timepieces, are subject to availability and prior sale.
- We make every effort to describe and photograph products accurately. However, variations in monitors and lighting may affect color or detail.
- Unless otherwise stated, “original” means “factory original” from the manufacturer (e.g., a Rolex dial described as “original” means it is a genuine Rolex dial, but not necessarily that the entire watch remains as it was when first sold).
3. RETURNS
- Preowned Timepieces: Purchases may be returned within 14 days of delivery or in-store pickup for a full refund of the purchase price. Watches and all included accessories must be returned in the same condition as received. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser.
- New or Unworn Timepieces: All sales are final. No returns or refunds are accepted.
4. SHIPPING AND DELIVERY
- U.S. Orders:
- Purchases under $10,000 ship FedEx 2Day Air (signature required).
- Purchases $10,000 or more ship FedEx NextDay Air. Orders received after 2:00 p.m. PST on Thursday will ship the following Monday.
- An adult signature (21+) is required for delivery.
- International Orders:
- Flat-rate $150 shipping via DHL Express. Delivery times depend on customs clearance.
- Buyers are responsible for all duties, VAT, tariffs, and taxes. We cannot provide estimates for these costs.
- Risk of loss passes to you upon confirmed delivery to the shipping address provided.
5. BILLING AND PAYMENTS
- Payments are processed securely via WooPayments (powered by Stripe).
- By submitting your payment information, you authorize us to charge your selected payment method.
- We reserve the right to request additional verification (such as government-issued ID or a recent bank statement) for high-value or high-risk transactions.
- Prices are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or errors in product or pricing information.
6. ACCURACY OF INFORMATION
We strive for accuracy but do not guarantee that all product descriptions, pricing, or website content are error-free. We reserve the right to correct errors and cancel orders where necessary, including after an order has been placed.
7. WARRANTIES AND AUTHENTICITY
- All watches are subject to in-house authentication and, where applicable, independent verification.
- Unless otherwise noted, preowned watches may include aftermarket parts or service replacements.
- We do not provide manufacturer warranties unless explicitly stated.
8. INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
International customers assume full responsibility for compliance with local import laws and payment of all applicable duties and taxes. If an item is returned due to customs refusal, return shipping costs and any associated fees will be the buyer’s responsibility.
9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business.
- Our total liability for any claim relating to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the product in question.
- All products are provided “as is” and “as available” except as expressly stated in writing.
10. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California and the Federal Arbitration Act.
- Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) in Los Angeles County, California, unless otherwise required by law.
- Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis only. Class actions and collective proceedings are not permitted.
- Either party may bring qualifying claims in small claims court.
11. AMENDMENTS
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective when posted on our website. The “Last Updated” date will reflect the most recent revision.
